What You Need To Make Rice Krispies Treats Flowers
- Kellogg’s Rice Krispies Cereal
- Marshmallows
- Butter
- Toothpicks
- Candy Melts (any colors)
- A silicone mold
- Cooking Spray
How To Make Rice Krispies Treats Flowers
- Before anything, coat your silicone mold with the cooking spray.
- Start by putting your candy melts into the bottom of your mold (all of the spots), completely covering the bottom.
- Microwave for 30-seconds. Check with the toothpick to see how melted they are. You’re probably going to need another 15-seconds.
- Take the toothpick and gently swirl the candy melts until they are just barely mixed together (like tie dye)
- Let that firm up while you make your rice krispie treats.
- Follow the measurements on the Kellogg’s Rice Krispies Cereal box for how much butter, marshmallows, and cereal to use.
- In a pot on the stove, melt the butter over medium heat, then add in your marshmallows.
- Mix together, then add in the cereal.
- Next, pat the rice krispies treats mixture into the molds, on top of the candy melts.
- Put the mold in the freezer for about 30-minutes to firm.
- Last, pop them out very gently (so you don’t break the chocolate) and enjoy!
